LISTENING HANDS FILM
A film exploring the links between the T’ai Chi Ch’uan movement form and a series of field recordings made in southern China. The film by Roswitha Chesher and Joseph Young features Tai Chi Master John Wing Leung and Joseph performing with his custom-designed Sonic Baton performance instrument in the main square of London’s Chinatown. The film was made in partnership with London Chinese Community Centre. (This is a single channel version of a two screen work.)
