Kay has been collecting antique Victorian and Art Deco tiles for years and after seeing a pub bar top created out of many such tiles in Commercial Street, London, she was inspired to make her own table using her collection of tiles.
Laerkevej table, Ceramic Garden. The circular table is custom built and tiled with circles left over from a ceramic relief Kay made when in residence at Laerkevej Day Centre, Copenhagen, in 1999.
Victorian table. This table is custom built and tiled with antique tiles and some hand-made ones.
