Ingrid Allik

Ingrid Allik was born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1958. She graduated in MA Ceramics at the Estonian State Art Institute in 1981. Between 1981-1987 she worked as a designer in ceramics factory.

Since 1987, Ingrid has been an Associated Professor at the Estonian Academy of Arts.
Her works (mainly done in raku technique) represent the idea of life’s constancy and ambience, of its similarities and differences.

She is author of the book “Raku”, published in 2010.

Allik has taken part in various international exhibitions and art symposiums in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Germany, Denmark, Iceland, GB, Japan and the USA.
