Lau Yat Wai is a ceramic artist from Hong Kong. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Visual Arts of Hong Kong Baptist University. Lau believes memory attaches itself to objects. They have a quality of intimacy and possess metaphorical significance beyond itself and its material objective reality. Lau’s works of art subtly disclose evasive individual internal life and certain recollections.
