Lucas Ferreira is a newcomer to the world of ceramics. His passion for ceramics was nurtured working as a studio assistant for his mother, Valeria Nascimento.
He has been developing his ceramic wall pieces in black and white porcelain for the last 2 years. In 2014 he was represented by The Woolff Gallery at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea and Hampstead and in their gallery in London. He is currently working towards exhibitions in Oxford, London and Switzerland.
Lucas says about his work:
My work is inspired by geological formations. I enjoy crafting minimalist textured studies inspired by how rocky surfaces are reshaped over time.
