Zhou Xianfeng (周先锋) is from Xiushui, Jiangxi, China. He obtained his BFA from Jingdezhen Ceramic College in 2004. He currently teaches in Nanjing Normal University of special education.
In order to improve his ceramic art skills, he dabbled in oil painting, mixed media, conceptual and performance art and he spent 5 or 6 years following Wang Zhenhai, a master of curium porcelain, by whom he was influenced and eventually became a teacher. His work breaks through notions of contemporary ceramic art and he constantly strives to achieve new directions in the development of his practice.
