Kay has designed various hearths at The Ceramic House with colour schemes pertaining to room that they are in. The living room fireplace is home to a sculpture of a ceramic fire by Danish artist Malene Hartmann Rasmussen which was in the Fantastic Tales exhibition in 2014.
