Kay has been designing sculpture for public realm commissions for over twenty years. With her background in site-specific public art, Kay’s method of working is to design a feature that relates to the site. She can apply this method to your space too and create something bespoke to suit your taste.
Glazed stoneware ceramic and mosaic are ideal materials for exterior spaces as they are frost-proof, self-cleaning and will last for many years. Seating, steps, floor-pieces, water features, wall reliefs and sculptures can be designed for your space, hand-made and hand-crafted in Kay’s studio.
My knowledge of Kay as an exhibition organizer puts her in a very special league, where she simultaneously has both an overview and an eye for detail. I was impressed with her high professional level of planning and organizing the ”Fantastic Tales” so succesfully with 16 Danish artists and at the same time doing her own show at another venue. On top of that the ”Fantastic Tales” was in Kay’s own house and she had many of us staying and we felt very welcome.
