Neither Increasing Nor Decreasing is part of INTERBEING, an exploration of collaborative ceramic and sound art practice in Britain and China taking place throughout 2021 curated by Kay Aplin & Joseph Young of The Ceramic House, Brighton.
The opening will take place on Instagram live @the_ceramic_house. Broadcasting live from the spectacular Chiddingstone Castle, the opening will feature a tour of the Buddhist collection, an introduction to the Castle and the Buddhist collection by curator Naomi Collick. The Ceramic House curators Kay Aplin and Joseph Young will present the Chinese artists’ responses to their selected objects.
The exhibition of Chinese artists responses to their selected Buddhist objects is located on The Ceramic House website and will go live on 31st August here
The physical exhibition at Chiddingstone Castle of Buddhist objects continues until 31st October.
Opening hours: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, 11am to 5pm (last entry to the house 4.15pm).
