We are chuffed to have been selected for prestigious I-Portunus EU funding for our upcoming residency. This is even more poignant because it is the last round we were ever eligible for since the withdrawal of the UK from the EU 🙁
We have invited Irish sound artists Suzanne Walsh and Linda O’Keeffe to collaborate with Estonian ceramists Juss Heinsalu and Pille Kaleviste to work in pairs and create new work responding to the theme of Edges. This is a pilot for our new project involving the nations of Ireland, Estonia and the UK which will take place over the next 2 years.
The results of this first residency will be on show at The Ceramic House in May 2022 alongside an exhibition of contemporary Estonian ceramics.
