Fuego y Agua is a reinterpretation of my collaborative work Fire & Water with Joseph Young. Created for Collect Open at the Saatchi Gallery in London in 2019, it returns to its place of origin in Asturias, Spain.
The work interprets the Asturian landscape through ceramics & sound and was inspired by the Victoria Spring in Borines, and the plants growing around it.
Aguas de Borines presents the work as the inaugural event of their new cultural programme in the former spa building and the exhibition opens precisely on the 130th anniversary of the foundation of the spa.
